My floor plan

This is my floor plan. The first floor is very open after the stairs/powder room. The second floor loft has a lot of potential as a bar/gameroom. My mind is racing with ideas for it. The image doesn't fit well so you have to click on it to get the full shot, then click again to zoom larger.

Concrete is poured!

No turning back now. They poured the foundation this week.

They marked the concrete with the lot #, the plan (1835 sq ft, Garden Wing is one of 6 available plans in that neighboorhood) and some of the options that effect the frame (Shower instead of tub and an added window in the master bath, polar ply upgraded insulation).

Two car garage. The far left is the breaker panel.

The backyard actually looks bigger now that everything is cleaned up. Still very small for a country boy.

First signs of construction

The first month after contract are spent choosing options and the builder getting permits done. Finally there was actual progress on the site. Up until last week my lot was used as a dumping ground for construction of my neighbors house. I stopped buy to talk to the sales team and saw that the lot had been set up for the foundation pour.

My massive backyard. Paid extra to get 10 ft. deeper lot. Seemed like a great idea until I started pricing synthetic lawns. You can see how the houses on the next street over are right up against their wall. Whatley wanted more.

Contract Signed!

These were shots of the lot on the day I signed a contract. Some were taken from a window of the neighbors house while it was in construction.
